In this all-new, fast-moving, part-confessional, part-inquisitional comic spoken word show, the filth elder known for his “transgressive” films and his “subversive” books salutes the new gender-guerilla generation of today for doing the impossible — actually making him nervous. Together, he demands, we must form a new rainbow of rancid colors and seize back the sexual revolution from the self-righteousness of the left and the intolerance of the right.
A new middle-of-the-road madness that uses humor as terrorism, wit as ammunition. A happy family of all-age, cuckoo crossover: hip-hop hippies, pansy punks, queer gangstas, down-low hos, and shit-kicking skeezers.

John Waters is a man of many monikers: The Prince of Puke, The Duke of Dirt, The Sultan of Sleaze. Any way you put it, John Waters is famed the world over for his trash epics including Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Polyester, Serial Mom, Cecil B. Demented and Hairspray.
Devil’s Advocate is the next chapter in Waters' rapid-fire one-man spoken word Vaudevillean act, This Filthy World, celebrating the film career and joyously appalling taste of the man William Burroughs once called "The Pope of Trash.”

Black Widows are a surf-punk band from Minneapolis. Bassist Pamela Laizure and guitarist Corinne Caouette founded the band in 2015 and continue to rock with a slew of talented drummers and guest performers. Black Widows' twangy surf guitar, gritty bass grooves, riot grrrl vocals, and slick beats will move you outta your seats!
Black Widows have toured coast to coast in the U.S. from New York City to LA with stops in major cities like Chicago, Detroit, and Las Vegas sharing the bill with national & international acts including Bombino, Dale Watson, L.A. Witch, Shonen Knife, Olivia Jean, The Coathangers, Death Valley Girls, Agent Orange, The Darts, Tsushimamire, Man or Astro-Man, The Trashmen, Ichi-Bons, Messer Chups, and more!
