Author, columnist, and comedian Steve Hofstetter hosts a Minneapolis premiere of his new movie "Handyman From Hell.“

Check out the funny, campy thriller featuring Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”), Michael Ian Black, Frank Caliendo, Vic Dibitetto, Natalie Buck, and more — followed by a live Q&A with Hofstetter, who stars in the film.

“Handyman From Hell” tells the story of Maggie Anderson, who has just separated from her husband and, as a way to cope, is finally overhauling the beautiful converted church that she had bought with so much promise just a few years ago. When she meets the sexy, skilled Nate, she feels like she's met the man who is going to fix up her kitchen…and maybe even her heart. What she doesn't realize is that Nate is mysteriously connected to her family and is entering her home and her life with murder on his mind.

Steve Hofstetter not only stars in the film (playing Maggie Anderson’s brother, Michael), but also produced it along with his pal, Jay Black. “Handyman From Hell” was shot almost entirely at the Steel City Arts Foundation (better known as Steel City AF), a “live/work/play environment for comedians” in Hofstetter’s hometown of Pittsburgh. Hofstetter founded the non-profit in 2014 and serves as its board president.
